Now that the fourth and final season is upon upon us -- what did you all think/feel/wonder about the season premiere? Let's talk about it in the comments!
[I]t can be a bit intimidating to express criticism or skepticism about The Good Place's worldbuilding, because odds are that your reaction is the point, all the way back to "wait, the afterlife in this show doesn't make any sense" in the first season. Nevertheless, I find myself troubled by some of the conclusions the show reaches in its third season and where it proceeds from them.
As I would have expected, Abigail provides a deeply thoughtful analysis of the season and its philosophical & ethical underpinnings. Worth reading.
Hey guys! I had some thoughts about this latest episode that I posted in a personal journal entry here. With as few spoilers as possible, I loved how we're moving into a broader critique of global capitalism and its effects on morality! I'd love to hear what you guys thought in the comments below.
