Hi everyone, welcome to the_good_place! It's wonderful to see so many of you joining this comm - I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. I thought it would be good, for starters, to have a place to introduce ourselves. So here it is.

Favourite films: Tough one, but right now I'm in Marvel fandom so I'll say the set of them as a whole. Otherwise perhaps What's Up Doc?
Favourite TV shows: Good Place is the one that I want to see right away when it pops up on the DVR. I don't know that there's anything else I'm as into atm, but there are shows I'm currently enjoying, like Victoria as well as entertainment/news shows like Daily Show and Stephen Colbert. I'm also looking forward to seeing others back like The Expanse, The Crown, Brooklyn 99, and I'm curious to see how the final House of Cards season is going to go.
Favourite authors/books: I really enjoy mysteries, so I'd say Sue Grafton, Agatha Christie, etc. I recently read a good book by Tami Hoag. I'm afraid Chidi's reading list is not something I do for fun ;)
Favourite bands/performers: There's no one band I'm currently into as I tend to enjoy songs rather than performers and my pop/rock collection runs from 50s to current. The most recent thing I wanted to listen to though was the Black Panther film score.
Favourite character on The Good Place: I'll say Tahani because I think she's one who could use more development and because I'd particularly like to see more of her friendship with Eleanor. I think there's a lot more we could see evolve from there given their differences.
Other fandoms: MCU, Buffyverse, Merlin
Anything else: I'd be curious to get some vid, art, and fic recs for Good Place. Also, I've been doing some editing of Fanlore recently and The Good Place entry is pretty sparse, so anything someone thinks could be added there, let me know:

I think I might have followed you at LJ, but I can't remember. At this point I just feel so old that usernames are running together. : ) I subscribed! I'm trying so hard to be more active around here. : )

I am exactly in your boat! Your name's familiar to me and I think maybe we ran across one another through SPN fandom?

But I subscribed back and am really happy to hear people are trying to be more active here. While I wouldn't call DW a hotbed of activity, I'm here virtually every day and generally have a mix of community and individual posts to scroll through. So I know I'm certainly not alone :)
