Welcome to the neighbourhood.
Hi everyone, welcome to
the_good_place! It's wonderful to see so many of you joining this comm - I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. I thought it would be good, for starters, to have a place to introduce ourselves. So here it is.

I've been trying to share TGP with a family member who can't seem to quite fall for it, even though we both are huge fans of TV in general and a few shows in common. It's not a case of them thinking it's overhyped, as they don't follow what's hot anyway. But...unfortunately I've had to put it on the back burner for now, rather than push it. I'm still hoping - especially since a half hour show is much easier to catch up on.

Yeah, all my partner's friends are praising the show on FB so of course he's becoming more resistant by the moment. We sat down to watch a few weeks ago and he immediately fell asleep. And I can't push the whole "there's a big twist" thing or he'll guess and it was going unspoiled into that big reveal (though I can't say I was surprised) that made it so amazing . . .
